It has been a very difficult few months for many of us, however, we are beginning to see a glimmer of light as things begin to open back up and we see a decrease in our daily case counts. It is important to remember the virus is still circulating in our community and we need to stay vigilant, keeping physically distant from others, except for our close circle (bubble) of family and friends, and wear a mask when you cannot maintain physical distancing. June has been a very busy month as we celebrated National Italian Heritage Month, National Portuguese Heritage Month, National Filipino Heritage Month, National Indigenous History Month and kicked off Pride Season. June 24th was Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, June 27th was Multiculturalism Day and July 1st we celebrate Canada Day.
Even though we can’t gather together this year because of the pandemic there are several virtual celebrations so be sure to go on-line to participate and show your great Canadian spirit: City of Vaughan Canada Day Celebration National Canada Day Celebration Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Canada Day Celebration
